From the very first time my Dad took me fishing where I caught my first pike I knew this would stick with me for the rest of my life. Born and bred in Cumbria, my family moved to the Florida in the USA.

 

Paddling in the crystal clear waters of Florida and sight casting fish I was hooked, this is where my passion for kayak fishing began. I then competed, placed and won numerous kayak competitions and even co founded a kayak clothing brand, fuelling my passion even more.

Having returned back home to Cumbria, I spent all my free time exploring what was now on my doorstep - The Lake District. I knew this is where I belonged and there was so many adventures to be had here. Most of my time I am out on the lakes catching pike, perch and wild brown trout, these three species have become my soul passion of fishing here. Having access to some of the most remote lakes I have gained experience next to none both on and off the water. I can say I know most of the lakes like the back of my hand now.

 

I am so passionate about kayak fishing and I now look forward to passing on my expertise and awareness of this area to others - I hope to see you soon!
