Pick you desired location in the beautiful Lake District

The Lake Districts has some of most beautiful waters England has to offer and with Wild Yak Fishing you get access to a wide range of them. The advantage from kayaks is we get to fish some of the most remote waters which are restricted to paddle craft only. No matter which lake we fish there is breath taking views!

BUTTERMERE

Buttermere is deep glacial lake that holds a really good healthy population of trout. Good average size perch can be found in the lake too along with the odd monster pike. All 3 species can be caught. Buttermere, in my opinion has some of the best views the Lake District has to offer for anyone looking for a days fishing.

CRUMMOCK WATER

Crummock Water like Buttermere is a big deep glacial lake with crystal clear water often with visibility down to 20ft. It holds a population of pike, perch, char and wild brown trout. If you're after a mixture of all three species with spectacular views Crummock Water has this to offer.

LOWESWATER

Loweswater is one of the smallest lakes the Lake District has to offer with a good healthy population of pike and perch. With paddle craft access only it is the perfect water to explore and to have a chance at catching some good average size pike and perch.

CONISTON

A perfect backdrop for a days fishing, an open expanse of water with opportunities for a bit of quiet fishing in the southern end. Full of char which the pike feed on making them a massive catch.

BASSENTHWAITE

A good water for catching some considerably large perch and a sizeable amount of pike. Its a good water for beginners due to the amount of fish time after time. Perfect views of Skiddaw and a chance to spot the Ospreys which nest south end of the water.

THIRLMERE

A long man made lake which holds a great amount of brown trout along side a fair population of pike and perch to be had. The pike seem to grow pretty big in here from all the trout they feed on, which makes a day out fishing worth it.
